Last updated July 2026. Ice Rim Cards is a personal hobby site — this page explains what information we collect when you use it, why, and how it's handled.
Newsletter signups. If you subscribe, we store your email address so we can send you updates when a new card is added or a new blog post goes up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Contact form messages. If you use the Contact page, we store your name, email address, and message so we can reply to you.
Purchases. If you buy a card, checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, shipping address, phone number, email, and payment details directly — we never see or store your card number. After a successful purchase, Stripe passes us your name, shipping address, phone number, and email so we can package and ship your order and follow up if there's an issue. We keep this order information for our own records (e.g. taxes, order history) and don't use it for anything beyond fulfilling and supporting that order.
Basic site data. Like most websites, our host may log standard technical information (e.g. IP address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. Your shopping cart is remembered using a temporary session cookie while you browse, which is cleared when you close your browser or complete checkout.
We use your information only to run this site: sending the updates or replies you asked for, processing and shipping orders, and keeping the site secure. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers that help us run the site (see below).
Stripe processes all payments and collects your payment and shipping details directly on our behalf. Stripe never shares your full card number with us. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
Our web host stores the site's database (including the information described above) on servers it manages, subject to its own security practices.
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. You can also ask us to delete your contact-form messages, newsletter subscription, or old order records by emailing us — see the Contact page. We'll remove what we reasonably can, though some order information may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, reach out via the Contact page.
